Vivien Williamson

Vivien Williamson of Sun Essences lives near Cromer which was a much loved haunt of Doctor Edward Bach. She started her company, Sun Essences, in the early nineties. It evolved from a decade long love affair with the Bach Flower Remedies and the unforgettable experience of making her first flower essence, White Chestnut in 1989.

Right from the beginning Vivien had an intuitive sense that essence combinations would be a significant part of the future of flower essences and with the help of Jane Stevenson of Sun Essences for Animals (Creature Comforters), began developing ranges of blends for people and animals.

An active member of the flower essence community in the UK, Vivien was Chairman of the British Flower and Vibrational Essence Association (BFVEA) for 2 years, and also did a stint as their Essence Journal editor. Her book “Bach Flower Remedies And Other Flower Essences” was published in 2000, and during that same year, Sun Essences was asked by Bioforce to supply the essences for the Jan De Vries range of Flower Essences.

Sun Essences with it’s policy of hand prepared flower essences is firmly on the map with it’s fine ranges of Bach Flowers, Be Blends and Living Essences.

Sun Essences donates Bach Flower Remedies to the Moya Healing Centre in Swaziland, Africa. Run by a wonderful lady called Jane, she uses flower cards to help the children choose helpful remedies.

There is so much poverty in this country, caused mainly by aids wiping out the adults with many houses now being run by children taking care of younger children. Jane does much more than support this centre, she is involved full time in trying to support communities with seed and food and helping children to go to school (for which they have to pay AND buy a uniform or they can't go).
